This gold and silver piece is a little unusual in that it’s the result of a commission based on a given element : an ancient Greek silver coin depicting Athena on one side and the owl symbol on the other. The response to this request was a complex geometry of intersecting lines. These lines were then connected to create tension ties, like the skin that links one finger to the other. A natural fit for the « Cartilage » collection. The pendant is suspended by a chain in one direction, either vertically on the Athena side or horizontally in the other direction on the owl side.
