I've always loved tinkering, fiddling around, getting my hands dirty.
I do this with clay, wax, but also lines of code.
For example, for the literary video game project “Journal du brise-lames,” I lifted the hood.
When I looked up, I realized that code is also a form of tinkering (and that I love it).
So when it came time to redesign my website, I wanted to continue developing my own ecosystem between volume and code.
And then, a website that I create to showcase my work allows me to control the price of my pieces.
To offer them to you at a reasonable and rational price that remains stable over time.
It's also an opportunity for me to create a direct channel with you. We can discuss all aspects of the pieces before you buy.
Clicking is, above all, a conversation.
My works of art are all 'Original' and 'Authentic' in the name of French law (which is very restrictive and therefore protective).
How do I 'read' proposals to buy or commission my artwork ?

The page for a work of art usually begins with a series of images showing the sculpture or piece of jewelry from various angles and in good resolution. This allows you to see what the work looks like, and to get a detailed idea of its volume and material. When I create my work in 3D, an interactive viewer lets you manipulate the sculpture and walk around it, zooming in on details. Sometimes the images used to present the work are computer-generated, in which case they are labelled 'digital simulation'. It's important to know that this is a simulation because, although the images are as close as possible to the final rendering, they do not contractually represent the result of the transition from 3D to metal. To illustrate this, here are two images of the 'Connect I' jewel:

The computer-generated image is faithful to its metal realization, except for a few details.
What happens when I buy on this site ?
The sculpture's material, dimensions, price and all the necessary information appear in the table's identification panel. If you're happy with everything, it's quick and easy: click on the 'Add to cart' button to start the online payment process (Stripe). All that's left for me to do is pack the artwork and send it to you by recorded delivery. If I've already made the sculpture, it appears as being in stock in the work's identification panel, and delivery is triggered within a week. In other cases, please allow 3 weeks to 1 month for delivery, as there's a lot to do!

You have questions or would you like to change the dimensions of the work? Then click on the 'contact' button to send me a note and discuss things together. Once we've worked out all the details, I'll adjust the price and update the work's page on the site. You can then click on the 'add to basket' button to start the purchasing process. I print out the sculpture and start making it in the chosen material . Please allow 3 weeks to 1 month for delivery

What kind of material?
I was a foundryman for 15 years too, so of course I like metal and bronze in particular. I recently discovered white bronze, in which some of the copper is replaced by tin and zinc. It's particularly suited to sculptures I want to polish. The result is similar to polished stainless steel, which I also like very much. I've used stainless steel in large sculptures like 'Huitre' and appreciated its characteristics such as its bluish shine when polished (it's much less white than silver and so much stronger!). But it's also very beautiful simply brushed. I used to joke that I could drive nails through my finger with a stainless steel ring! Well, I ended up doing it, and the jewel was still marked by the nail! However, casting a piece in stainless steel is difficult and rather rare. It also takes a lot longer (from around 3 weeks to 6 weeks). Finally, it's also possible to make the piece in Smoky black resin, which is very interesting because it's translucent.
The choice is yours! You can choose bronze, white bronze, yellow gold or 18-carat white gold, as well as silver, 316 L stainless steel (marine grade) or resin!

How do I read the price displayed ?
If you choose the work as described in the work identification table, the price including VAT and shipping costs is that shown in the table.
If you have a special request for the sculpture, the price displayed is no longer appropriate. You then make your request by clicking on the 'Contact' button and, after a discussion together, I'll send you a free estimate for the sculpture with its updated price including VAT.
