"Brizlam"

Sculpture based on the Sète breakwater in paper. 18 m long.

Brizlam is a paper sculpture of the Sète breakwater. It was presented in Poussan (34) as part of the exhibition [Brizlam] . It is 18 meters long and cuts the exhibition hall in two. Excerpts from the text « Journal du brise-lames » by Juliette Mézenc appear in places on its paper skin. The exhibition also includes photographs by Ernest Puerta taken on the breakwater and the film « brizlam » I made for the occasion. Some of the images show the Brizlam in the garden of the bassin du chateau d’eau in Sète, where it was also presented as part of the Voix-vives 2011 poetry festival.
