Folded paper sculpture evoking a heart.
Big heart is a large heart in folded paper . The jewel Cartilage III is inspired by this shape. This sculpture is an example of the bridging of scale between the very small and the very large that becomes possible when the volume is conceived in the virtual space of 3D. Assembled caissons form the surface of the volume, evoking topographical regions of the heart.
