"Branching XV"

Sculpture in white bronze and wood

Branch XV is a kind of spinal column made up of six imaginary vertebrae that fit into each other. This spinal column holds two branches together while aligning them. The metal piece becomes the backbone of this new organization of branches of different species. With each vertebra delicately clasping the branch between its two tapered extensions, the metal part of the sculpture also appears to embellish the branches. It’s like a ring, or a bracelet. Its mission, then, is also to enhance the wood of the branches. At the same time, the branch becomes a valuable object.
This sculpture is an original work produced in a limited edition of 8 pieces (What is an original work ?). It is shown here, as is often the case, in white bronze, but it can also be made in bronze, silver, resin, or even gold !

Gold fluctuates a lot, so contact me for a more precise quote. The price shown is an estimate

Most of my work is based on a 3D model that I create and print before casting in metal. You can therefore choose from several materials (silver, gold, stainless steel, bronze, white bronze or Smoky black resin) and, why not, imagine it in a larger size. So don't hesitate to contact me (free estimate of course ;)
