Sculpture in stainless steel
MachineOs II, like the other MachineOs, plays on a dual technical vocabulary, representing a twisted bone structure onto which a mechanical part has been grafted. The sculpture articulates a form derived from 3D modeling tools specialized in curved forms (organic forms) and another specific to mechanical forms composed of straight segments.
This dialogue raises questions about the use of such tools in the field of artistic creation. I sometimes extend this reflection on the studio’s blog.
