"Machine_os V"

Sculpture in white bronze

From a plate punctuated with holes, two shapes seem to rise up, wrapping around each other. The plate is reminiscent of an industrial shape, while the two rising shapes are more akin to smoke coming out of two of the holes in the plate, as if light bulbs stuck in the holes were producing smoke. At their ends, the two smokes are hollow and form two mouths, belying their evanescent nature to become disturbing monsters of sorts. Here again, the aim is to combine two visual elements with two modelling techniques and drift towards imaginary forms.
The question of modeling and creation is regularly raised on the blog.

Gold fluctuates a lot, so contact me for a more precise quote. The price shown is an estimate

Most of my work is based on a 3D model that I create and print before casting in metal. You can therefore choose from several materials (silver, gold, stainless steel, bronze, white bronze or Smoky black resin) and, why not, imagine it in a larger size. So don't hesitate to contact me (free estimate of course ;)
