"On motion"
On motion is a 1.4 m bronze sculpture.
This sculpture is inspired by joints. Leg and hip bones are recognizable. It is made by folding paper directly. I had in mind the desire to put paper to the test on a large scale, and the idea of stilts in the image of the bones of the lower body quickly became apparent. All that was needed was for the movement to follow the organization of the skeleton as it walked. It was great to see the paper unfold and organize itself almost naturally as the sculpture progressed.
