"Louis Braille Trophy"

Bronze sculpture in 5 parts. Trophies distributed as part of the short story competition organized by CINAL to celebrate the bicentenary of Louis Braille’s death.

This 4-piece sculpture opens onto a column engraved in relief with the characters of the Braille alphabet. It evokes the shape of a finger. Its surface is composed of intersecting and connecting lines that guide the finger as it explores the sculpture. Particular attention to the context of the commission (blindness) therefore had a major impact on the shape of the trophy. Each of the 5 winners left with a piece of the sculpture.
