"Tetrapod"

Folded paper sculpture.

Tetrapodis a paper sculpture resulting from work on author Juliette Mézenc’s Juliette Mézenc « Journal du brise-lames » book, which culminated in the « brizlam » exhibition in May 2010. It represents one of the many tetrapods of the Sète (34) breakwater, whose role is to break the waves. Here, the tetrapod is used as a pretext for an interplay of planes that capture the light, multiplying the combinations of light and shade.
